Continuity - Script

Media Script

Plot Synopsis: An outlaw by the name of ‘The Fox’ is being accused of betraying his boss, David Star, the owner of Newcastle’s most renowned Crime Syndicate.

[Dialogue will be filmed using Shot/Reverse Shots and with the 180 degree rule]

[The Fox is led into the room by a Guard, this is shot using action match. The Fox takes a seat across from David Star]

David Star: (Smug) Well, well, well. We finally meet in person… What is it they call you? The Fox, is it? (Laughs) You know why I called you here, yes?

The Fox: (Sarcastically) Not a clue, Mr Star.

David Star: (Riled) Don’t mess about with me you mug. You know full well what happens to people who rub me the wrong way.

[DS places a pistol on the table, with the barrel pointed at The Fox]

David Star: (Inquisitively) Please, tell me why you are killing my men? I grant you control over many warehouses across the area, providing a suitable income, and this is how I’m repaid? Tell me now!

The Fox: I was left with no choice. Those incompetent swine’s had their fate sealed when they decided to take some of the income for themselves.

David Star: You had potential, you know? One day you could have reached my level. But no, you people always want more. You’ve already made that very clear.

The Fox: I don’t need to take orders from you. You’re just a power crazy maniac. What a peasant! I will smash your face in!

David Star: I have more power than you could ever imagine. Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. (Laughs)

[David Star reaches for the gun. The Fox slaps away his hand, takes the gun and smacks on the head with it. Guard comes in and is shot]

[Low angle shot of The Fox, looking down on David Star]

[Reverse Shot of The Fox, shoots David Star]

Extra Notes
I have selected 3 actor to portray the roles of David Star, The Fox and the Guard. The three actors I have chosen are already close friends, allowing shooting to be easier.
